SOD2 is notoriously known for having technical errors, crashes, freezes, Character getting thrown 100 feet in the air, etc. I more like shooting zombies and throwing Molotov and grenades And calling in radio commands for aerial bombardment that just level an area so asking for character attacks you gotta probably ask someone else. SOD original has some, but the developers made SOD2 take it to another level. You can do special attack moves by leveling up your character. But it has a lot of different type of games (breakdown, lifeline) that are pretty cool. SOD2 is the only one with multiplayer so you can control who comes in your game and you can kick out anyone who comes into your game.SOD original is solo play only. Just surviving for some can be pretty powerful itself, given the game has Permadeath. So how you define a character getting really powerful it’s really up to the individual. The game is more you are a regular dude you can sort of progress but a regular dude who’s shooting and killing zombies and surviving the zombie apocalypse. SOD2 outweighs a little bit But your character never really become superhuman, just a really badass fighter.
SOD original has some, but SOD2 is more enhanced. SOD2 outweighs SOD original as you have more options to customize and choose the skills progression for your character.
